The site is a neighborhood of row houses densely crammed with small homes. The project contemplates new ways to inncorporate gardening into the city, and into buildings, by approaching the house and small farmland on equal terms as spaces, and as environments. The vegetable garden provides the setting for a different lifestyle. New dimensions in environment and housing have the ability to subtly alter the shape of our lives.
